Measurement Mode

Calculate instrument height (IH) and elevation (EL) by simply entering benchmark and staff readings.

• Benchmark setup: Enter BM (benchmark elevation) and BS (backsight reading)
• Point measurement: Enter FS (foresight reading) to automatically calculate EL (point elevation)
• Automatic calculations: IH (instrument height) and EL are calculated instantly
• Multiple benchmarks: Add and switch benchmarks during a survey
• Custom keypad: Numeric keypad optimized for quick data entry
• Auto focus: Move to the next field automatically after confirming input

Layout Mode (Pro Feature)

Enter the target elevation (EL) and LevelNote calculates the required staff reading (FS) for layout work.

This helps you speed up setting-out tasks and reduce time on site.

• Automatic calculations: Required IH (instrument height) and FS (staff reading) are calculated
